- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 piece garlic cloves
- 2 tsp crushed pepper flakes
- 2 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz. total)
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp sugar

- 1/3 cup cashews (soaked)
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds (soaked)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/5 tsp apple cider vinegar
Red sauce
- Heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic & chilies and cook until fragrant (1 minute). (If no chilies, can substitute with Pili Pili sauce.)
- Add tomatoes, basil, oregano, sugar and salt & pepper to taste.
- Simmer for ~15 minutes.
White sauce
- Blend soaked nuts with water, lemon juice & cider until smooth.
- Add to red sauce, mix & serve.
